Notes In Shanghai in the thirties, an innocent young woman will experience a real descent into hell. The high place of debauchery and vice, the "Gin Sling", yet very frequented, is threatened with closure by a rich influential puritan, Guy Charteris. One evening, the place attracts in its nets the daughter of the latter and the owner clearly intends to use her as leverage. Between games, alcohol and perversion, the young woman sinks into the meanders of the nightlife.
