Silvio Testi (pseudonym of Silvio Capitta) was born in Viterbo in 1954. In 1978 he graduated with honors in Law at the La Sapienza University of Rome while at the same time he continued his activity as a record producer with a Roman label, which represented a sort of interesting music workshop. In those years he followed the productions of Maria Monti, Taberna Mylaensis, Roberta D'Angelo etc.
In 1978 he began collaborating with the world of television. In that same year she produces Stefania Rotolo in the program-revelation "Piccolo Slam", as well as the following year (1979) she will start to produce Heather Parisi in the first edition of "Fantastico", also signing the program as the author.
Over a period of 9 years he will sign several editions of the successful RaiUno program: "Fantastico 2" (1981 - music producer, choreographic producer and author of the theme song), "Fantastico 4" with Gigi Proietti, (1983 - author, music producer and author of the acronyms), "Fantastico 5" with Pippo Baudo (1984 - music producer and author of the theme song), "Fantastico 6" with Pippo Baudo and debutants Lorella Cuccarini and Galin Gùrg (1985 - author and music producer), " Fantastic 8 "with Adriano Celentano (1988 - music producer). In 1982 he curated the musical and choreographic production of "Stasera niente di nuovo" with Sandra Mondaini, Raimondo Vianello and Heather Parisi. In 1985 he took care of the musical realization of the program hosted by Monica Vitti on RaiUno and produced musically, again for the same network, "Serata d'onore" from Montecatini, an experience which he would repeat, as a producer, in the following edition (1986).
