Silvio Gigli (August 3, 1910 Siena, Tuscany, Italy - February 8, 1988 Rome, Lazio, Italy) was an Italian journalist, radio presenter, director, writer and lyricist. Author and presenter of many radio broadcasts, historical chronicler of the Palio di Siena (contradaiolo della Tartuca), he is one of the first presenters of quizzes. Known for its characteristic voice, it becomes one of the most well-known radio speakers, from the post-war period to the 1960s.
