Eleonora Garnett (born: Eleanora Garnett), was an Italian naturalized Estonian stylist.
When she was very young, she was sent to live with an aunt who had a small tailor shop in Moscow. Following the Russian Revolution, the family moved to Shanghai where they began working for a seamstress.
He decided to refine his style in Paris, with the Parisian designer Edward Molyneux. He returns to Shanghai and successfully opens his first atelier. He marries the Italian businessman Luciano Riggio.
In 1949 he moved to the United States in New York where he opened his own fashion house at 47 East 51 St. and then settled permanently in Rome in the atelier in Via di Villa Sacchetti in the early 1950s.
In 1953 he helped to found, together with other big names of the time, the SIAM - Italian High Fashion Union (which later became the National Chamber of Italian Fashion).
In 2015 the "Spello Film Festival" within the "We are women" exhibition places her among the great stylists who have created clothes for the cinema.
