Leo Chiosso

Leo Matteo Chiosso, sometimes credited as Matteo Chiosso and Roxy Bob, was a television author, playwright, author of texts and, in his youth, rugby player at 15 in the formation of the GUF Turin with to which he was deputy national champion in 1941. Known especially for his collaboration with Fred Buscaglione, after the death of the latter he collaborated with other composers writing songs that became very famous in the Italian music scene.

Author of numerous television programs (including The Adventures of Laura Storm and an edition of Canzonissima), he worked until the last years of life and has a son called Fred in honor of Buscaglione, who is currently the guardian of his legacy cultural and his artistic heritage through an association born in 2013.
