Armando Fragna

Armando Fragna was an Italian musician and composer.

He has written countless compositions, but is remembered above all for the music of various Totò films.
He has to his credit the preparation (orchestration and arrangements) of songs that participated in the Sanremo Festival (1952-1953).

For about 20 years he conducted one of the many orchestras that RAI had in the various locations; the other orchestras were conducted by Cinico Angelini, Pippo Barzizza, Alberto Semprini, Lelio Luttazzi, Carlo Savina, Gino Conte and others.

The Fragna orchestra included the voices of Clara Jaione, Duo Blengio, Luciano Benevene, Vittoria Mongardi, Giorgio Consolini, Claudio Villa, Quartetto Cetra.
