Massimo Mollica

Massimo Mollica was an Italian actor.

He is essentially known for his interpretation of Don Vito Cascio Ferro in the television drama Joe Petrosino which RAI broadcast in 1972, directed by Daniele D'Anza, interpreted together with his fellow citizen Adolfo Celi. The great success of the screenplay led him to participate as a guest of honor in Canzonissima conducted by Pippo Baudo and Loretta Goggi, in the episode in which Mariangela Melato was also a guest.

He is considered as one of the most sensitive and intense interpreters of Pirandello's theater, of which he was an attentive scholar and biographer, as well as director and main actor of Pirandello's staging in the greatest Italian theaters.
