Renato Pozzetto

Renato Pozzetto is an Italian actor, director, comedian, and singer.

His particular form of humor, characterized by a surreal streak, made him one of the best known protagonists of Italian comedy.

In 1964 he formed the comic duo "Cochi e Renato" with Ponzoni and made their debut together with the Osteria dell'Oca, in Milan. They perform at Cab 64 constituting with Enzo Jannacci, Felice Andreasi, Bruno Lauzi and Lino Toffolo in "The Motor Group", to then land at the Derby in Milan. From that moment the duo is known by the name of Cochi and Renato.

The pair of comedians was immediately successful. Together they create a simple but at the same time original and poetic comic style. The popularity grows quickly and in a short time they arrive in front of the Rai cameras, in some cases even in transmissions that see them as conductors and protagonists.

The peak of the Milanese actor's film career occurred between the 70s and 90s playing numerous films.
