Luigi Ingrosso, known as Gino Ingrosso, was an Italian lyricist and composer.
He moved to Rome in the second half of the fifties, to undertake the career of composer; here he meets Paolo Bacilieri, who plays two of his songs on an album.
He then joined the CGD and CBS staff, and then moved to Milan. For Sugar Music he composes over one hundred songs from originals and foreign versions, including "Non è la fine" (1964) sung by Bobby Solo and "Quella che sa piangere" (1966) played by Gene Pitney.
In the 80s and 90s he recorded numerous discs of Salento folk music.
